As you know, I LOVE making hand knit stuffed animals. Easter presents an opportunity to create so many lovely, colorful stuffed animals to fill baskets. We’ve all got a bit a spare time on our hands as we stay at home to #flattenthecurve. Why not keep your hands busy with some Easter knits?
I’ve compiled a few of my favorites and linked to where you can get them. I have no affiliation with them (meaning I do not receive anything if you purchase a pattern from them), but I highly recommend them. Their patterns are well written and very affordable.
I hope you enjoy creating these as much as I do!
Cotton Candy Bunny
This cuteness is called Cotton Candy Bunny. She’s by Knitting by Post. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Plum Heather and Raspberry, Link to pattern below the photo.
These are different color versions of the Clucky Hen pattern, also by Knitting by Post. Her wings are pockets to hold treats! Look what you can do just with color changes! Worked up all in Red Heart Super Saver. Link below photos.
Flat Footed Floogie
I just LOVE this bunny lovey pattern by Barbara Prime! For the pastel bunny, I used Sirdar Snuggly Snowfake in Rainbow Spray. The original bunny on the right I used Ice Yarns Classic Chunky. I can’t recall the shade, I apologize! It’s a 5 for a weight of yarn thickness. Link below the photos.
Cutest. Duck. Ever, Pattern by Pat Alinejad. The pattern calls for worsted weight acrylic but I used Red Heart Hygge so she’d be a bit fuzzy. I don’t regret that decision one bit. Link below the photos.
My favorite bunny pattern!! This pattern is also by Pat Alinejad. Look at how cute they are; just look at the! The pink bunny was worked up in Red Heart Hygge, brown bunny in Red Heart Super Saver, grey also in Hygge and the blue (OMG, the blue!!) is worked in Lion Brand Go For Faux and I used Hygge for the inner ears. Link below photos.
Last but not least, my peeps to help fill out your baskets. This one’s a freebie!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Stay busy. Stay Safe. Stay well.
